Join us for training sessions by our Australian Athletics Level 3 accredited coach - Emma Carney - every Tuesday and Thursday from 6pm. Our sessions are tailored to the season, upcoming races, and your individual goals. Meet us at the Pollack Pavilion—just past the playground—and take your running to the next level!

Junior Training Sessions at Malvern Harriers Our junior program is a fun and supportive way for young athletes to build fitness, improve technique, and enjoy running with friends. Whether your child is new to athletics or already racing, all levels are welcome in a safe and inclusive environment.
Sessions are designed and led by multiple World Champion and Level 3 Athletics Australia accredited coach, Emma Carney.
Time: 4:45pm on Tuesday
Location: Sir Zelman Cowen Park, Glenferrie Road in Kooyong.
Session Outline: Training is tailored to age, run focus with a focus on drills, skills, speed development and conditioning that encourage confidence and a love of running.
Senior Training Sessions at Malvern Harriers
Looking to improve your fitness, train for a race, or simply run with a supportive group? Come along to our friendly training sessions, led by Multiple World Champion and Level 3 Athletics Australia accredited coach, Emma Carney.
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced runner, you’ll find a program that suits you. New runners are always welcome — come down and give it a go!
Time: Seniors train at 6:00pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
Location: Sir Zelman Cowen Park, Kooyong. (Winter: May–Aug Thursday sessions at the Tan)

All Sessions are tailored to the summer or winter season, upcoming events, and your individual goals — whether you're a beginner or a seasoned runner, you'll find a program to suit you.
New runners are always welcome — come down and give it a go!
Our clubrooms are in the Pollack Pavilion, (Melway ref: 59 D3).
Recovery
All club members are encouraged to focus on active recovery to minimise the risk of injury.
Between club training sessions, members should refer to the club training plan and jog for the set times, cross train and also book a massage/pilates/physio session with the club Physio at least monthly.
