Walking & Cycling Groups

Life member and long time Club coach, Peter Coles, leads the walking group from the Malvern Harriers clubrooms each Tuesday evening.
Walking Group

Walking is a terrific way to build and maintain fitness levels in a social environment. Peter takes advantage of the many parks adjacent to Kooyong Park, as well as the many beautiful tree lined streets in the Malvern area when venturing out.

Peter's wealth of experiencing as a coach allows participants to gain valuable information that can be translated into their fitness programs. Individual programs can be written for those who would like a more comprehensive level of guidance.

Off course, Peter's philosophy is that fitness program must fit into your lifestyle and also be fun. Malvern's walking group is a wonderful way to improve your fitness in a social and supportive environment. Don't forget the first Tuesday of every month, runners and walkers all meet after training at a local restaurant for dinner. It's a great way to catch up with everyone and enjoy a delicious meal!

Cycling Group

In the traditional social Malvern spirit, come and enjoy a ride on the road along the beach front. Riding is a terrific way to complement any fitness program, whether it is to improve fitness or to aid recovery.

This is a social ride on the road and covers approximately 40km.
A mandatory coffee break is included!
Where to meet: End of North Road, Brighton beach front
