Malvern's 2006 winter junior team was the largest in over a decade! Across age divisions U12, U14 & U16, the results on both an individual and team level were outstanding.
Team manager and coach, Paul Marr, has provided tremendous leadership to the group of aspiring athletes. |

The under 14 girls finished 4 th and the under 14 boys finished 5 th in their respective divisions in the winter competition. This is an impressive result given the team only entered the competition mid-season!
Outstanding individual performances were shared amongst all team members, with consistency awarded to Amy Burren who was ranked 9 th in the under 14 girls and Anthony Malelis who was ranked 13 th in the under 14 boys. Anthony also had an impressive performance in the National Cross Country Championships in Hobart.
With the track season underway, the athletes are looking forward to continuing with their strong performances.
